Little Gym

Miss Ella has started Little Gym for the summer and she just absolutely loves it. Here are some pictured from her session today. And some of these pictures are blurry. We have to take our camera in to get fixed so the autofocus will work again. We accidentally dropped the camera while we were on vacation.

Looks like an Olympian to me

Flippng backwards with the instructor

Flipping backwards with Daddy. Thank goodness Daddy was there today, because there was no way Mommy was going to try this with her big belly in the way.

Looking like she's going to break her neck. We're trying to learn the "correct" technique.

So talented :)

Daddy looks more into it than Ella

Just a little something to remember

No pictures with this post. This is just a little story about Ella that I wanted to be able to remember later on. Jeremy went to drop her off at school the other day, and as soon as they entered her room her little friend Harrison came running up to push her. You know...probably one of those boy love pushes. :) Anyway, he missed her completely and got nothing but air. But my daughter, the drama queen threw herself on the floor like he had just man handled her and started crying like she was hurt. She is already setting the boys up for trouble!

Finally...a backsplash

Well I underestimated the importance of a backsplash in the kitchen. I thought that we could just do it at a later date. Well after the walls got yucky from water spots and cooking on the stove I couldn't take it any more. We finally added it and I love it.

Family Trip to Florida

We just got back from a wonderful family vacation to Florida. Jeremy's mom and stepdad were down there one day while we were so we got to see them and hang out with them for a little bit. They were even able to babysit while Jeremy and I could squeeze in a date night. We appreciated it greatly! The weather was beautiful and not too hot, which was nice for a 30 week pregnant woman. We got in some beach time, pool, shopping, and we all even went golfing. Ella loved the pool and the beach, but did not care for the ocean except on the very last day we were there. She was ready to jump in...waves and all. Go figure. Ella was such a good girl the whole trip. We were just so proud of her. And the next time we go back we'll be a family of four!

Just as a side note...Ella did so well in Florida sleeping on a big girl bed we decided to go ahead and transition her to her big girl room as soon as we got home. And she has done WONDERFUL! She loves her big girl bed and has been sleeping great. Let's hope that continues. :)

Her new favorite place to ride

Doesn't she look cute in her Lilly?

Easter Sunday

Ella and Aunt Leah

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. We went to church, had brunch with my Dad, Rene', and Leah, came home and took a much needed nap, then had family come over around dinner time. We just praise God for all of the blessings we have in our lives!

The Easter Bunny came!

Ella was so excited to see what the Easter Bunny left her. This is the first time she has gotten excited about seeing some new presents for the first time, so that made it really fun for Mom and Dad. Let me explain the cones...she LOVES them. Every time we're outside she will run into our next door neighbors garage and grab their cones and start lining them up. Therefore, we decided to get her her own. And what's the first thing she grabbed when she saw everything...the cones. At least we can start practicing our soccer dribbling skills. :)

Thank God they're non toxic

Excited to be dyeing Easter eggs

Ella dyed Easter eggs for the first time this year and she was sooo excited. Thank God they're non toxic because the first thing she did was dip the egg dipper in the dye and then put it in her mouth. Mommy couldn't stop her in time. Daddy was working so he missed out on all the fun. But do you know how hard it is trying to keep all the dye in the cups, take pictures, and keep a 20 month old still on a chair? Hard, I tell ya! I was able to keep the dye in the cups and take pictures but that 20 month old...landed on my foot after she fell off the chair. Scared Mommy to death! Thank goodness it was my foot and not the tile. Mommy learned her lesson.

Birth Mark

Well most everyone knows that Ella has a birth mark on the back of her neck. All of her doctors (aka...pediatrician, ent doc, etc) have all told us to get it removed. Well, we went to the plastic surgeon last week to get his opinion on what he thinks we need to do. He said if we leave it alone then it does have a chance of turning malignant in her lifetime. Therefore, since it does have a chance then we will be removing it. It makes me sad because I love it. It's part of her. The plastic surgeon recommended waiting until 5-6 years old that way he has a little more skin to work with. Plus, it's better for kids to be older when they go "under". So we'll just go every 6 months for our check up to make sure it's not growing or thickening and then we will get it removed later on.

It starts on her shoulder line and goes up into her hair. It's where the stork was carrying her and dropped her to us on the day she was born. :)

Fun Hair Day

Ultimate Hatred for the Easter Bunny

Well, needless to say, since Santa Clause didn't go well at Christmas, I KNEW the Easter Bunny was not going to be a big hit. However, Jeremy's form of torture won on that day so he took her to go see the fuzzy bunny. As you can tell, it was way worse than Santa. As soon as she got off his lap and into Jeremy's arms she was waving at him and saying bye-bye. We also went to brunch with my dad's family today for Easter and they had the Easter Bunny walking around. If he even looked in her direction she would stop what she was doing, scream, and run to Jeremy to bury her head in his shoulder. Poor thing. She's traumatized!

Megan Claire Parker

Here is a picture from our latest ultrasound of Megan. She's a stubborn little thing. I had to go twice to get a good picture of her heart. And it even took the ultrasound tech forever to get a good picture of it the second time. I was close to having to go back a third time. But everything looks great. And we are over halfway done!

Zoo Day

We took Ella to the zoo since it was going to be a beautiful day. Here are a couple random pics from there.

Life looks tough for this guy.

My two favorite people.

Snow Day in Memphis

Isn't it pretty? But, boy, am I glad that's it's gone!

Gatlinburg

So...my husband is the most wonderful person ever! I woke up on a Friday morning 2 weeks ago and thought I was going to work. Needless to say, my husband told me to pack a bag because we were going to Gatlinburg for a long weekend to get away. How wonderful is he!?! He even called my work and scheduled it with them ahead of time so I could be off. And I was just saying earlier that week how much I needed a vacation. So he was reading my mind. He is such a thoughtful, loving husband and I love him more than words can say. Thank you honey for doing that for me. It really meant the world to me. I love you!

Jeremy's going to be outnumbered....again!

YAY! It's another girl!! I'm so excited that Ella will have a sister! Everything is looking great with the baby. She was a little stubborn today and wouldn't cooperate very well, so we are going back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound to get more measurements. Jeremy was a little shocked at first, but is handling it like a champ. :) Also, check back later as I am going to update the blog tonight with everything that we've been doing.
